PURPOSE

The Union aims to protect student rights and to serve and satisfy the general interest of the students. The club has currently over 250 registered members who receive monthly newsletter e-mails, as well as information regarding the rights they have as students. SU encourages all students to register. The more students that register, the stronger the Union's voice will be. The goal of the club is to encourage scholastic spirit and to instill a sense of well being and safety within the common student. The cabinet meets just about every Wednesday and will discuss issues found in the Incident Reports and Suggestion Forms that can be found in the Main Office. Students feeling at odds with the either the federal, state, or education legal system can discover their options by filing one of these reports. The Union will do its best to support all claims so long as they are legitimate.
