Bell Schedule for June 7, 2007

Today, June 7: Period 5 8:00 a.m. 10:00 a.m.
Break 10:00 a.m. – 10:25 a.m.
Period 6 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Students: All lockers must be cleaned out by Friday, June 8. Personal items left in the lockers after June 13 will be donated to the Salvation Army.

ROP Finals Bus Schedule:

Today, June 7 Periods 5 and 6 - ROP bus leaves Shasta at 8:30 a.m. and returns at 12:30 p.m.

Seniors need to report to Thompson Field tomorrow morning at 8:00 a.m. sharp for graduation practice!

To the rest of the students: Have a great summer and we will see you on Monday, August 20. Don’t forget that final registration begins Monday, August 6.

Information:
The Penny War has ended and the senior class is victorious with a total of 12, 950 points! Juniors received second place with 3,770 points, followed closely by the sophomores with 3, 728 and the freshman with 407. Thanks to your generosity, Interact Club donated $700 to the Prosthetic Hand Project for the purchase of 14 prosthetic hands this weekend. Congratulations, Class of 2007, $200 has been credited to your Sober Grad night! (Hampton)

END OF YEAR SALE IN THE STUDENT STORE: There will be a sale on most girls’ clothing items through the end of the school year. Girl's tank tops will be $10 and girl's fitted t-shirts will be $12. Certain styles of regular t-shirts will be $10 as well. Don't miss this chance to get some great Shasta Spirit wear at a discounted price. The store is open before school and at lunch for shopping. SUMMER WORK PERMITS: Please remember that all students who are under the age of 18 and are employed are required by law to obtain a work permit. Any student who is hired for a summer job is required to obtain a Work Permit from the school's Attendance Office. This Work Permit will be valid through the summer vacation period. Students who already have work permits and are currently employed do not have to renew their work permits until the beginning of the next school year. (Chandler)

In your registration packet for next year, there are new rules pertaining to illegal parking on campus. Make sure you read the information on what you need to do regarding purchasing your permit during registration week.

Seniors:
Sober Grad will be on Thompson Field tomorrow, June 8, 10:00-11:30 a.m. This is your last chance to purchase your ticket!

All Seniors! Please note that all of your student fees must be paid BEFORE graduation practice on Friday, June 8. You will not be able to participate in practice if your fees are not paid.

Reminder: After the graduation ceremony, you need to pick up your diploma at the old stack bar/pressbox.

After-School Sports:
Cross Country: There is an informational meeting today, 10:10 a.m., in Room 217, for all student interested in Cross Country next year. (Perez)

Attention, JV and Varsity Soccer players! If you are planning on trying out for fall soccer, stop by Room 217 to notify Mr. Good. (Good)

If you are interested in swimming this summer, see Coach Stack in Room 212. This is for all athletes, not just swimmers, wanting to get in shape. (Stack)
