What
many high school students may not know is; a majority
of their careers will be in the business field.
This in turn means that after high school students
will be responsible to complete all of the appropriate
classes in order to give themselves a competitive
edge. The only burden to taking a college course
is the expense; Shasta High
School has created a solution to this problem. In addition to our year-long Computer Applications course, we now offer seven different semester classes geared to expose our students to possible career choices. Four of these classes are Dual Enrolled with Shasta College, where students have the ability to earn college credits at no cost.

Great
businessmen such as Henry Ford and Donald Trump
based their success on seven basic principles
of business: commonsense, creativity, and have
specialized knowledge in your field, self reliance,
ability to get things done, ability to lead, and
self confidence. Our highly trained teachers at
Shasta High have not only taken the required courses
to become business specialized teachers, but they
have also been previosuly employed in the business
field. As a result, their professional input and
insider approach to teaching gives students an
even greater edge on the competition.
