College
can be a rough place and tuition is getting
higher each year. With this program, students
have the opportunity to earn three college credits
per class while still going to high school.

Web Publishing 1

Objectives:
•
Focus on web page planning, basic design, layout,
construction, set up and maintenance of a web
site.
• Gives students the ability to understand
how personal skill development and positive traits
affect career paths and strategies for obtaining
employment.
• Understand web design concepts and techniques
that are essential to planning, creating, testing,
publishing, and maintaining web sites.
Tools:
HTML, Dreamweaver, JavaScript, and various other
web page and image creations tools.
Prerequisites:
Computer Applications 1 or instructor approval.
College
Credits: For the course offered, three
college credits are given as long as the student
receives an A or a B in the class as well as a
minimum grade of a C on the final. In order to
obtain these college credits the student must
start the process by taking three college credits,
and then once the three credits are complete,
the credits from your high school courses will
be credited to your college transcripts.
