College
can be a rough place and tuition is getting higher
each year. With this program, students have the
opportunity to earn three college credits per
class while still going to high school.
Course:
Web Publishing 2
Instructor: Dennis
Cahill
Objectives:
• Create basic HTML pages, format and manipulate
Web pages using Macromedia Dream Weaver MX.
• Acquaint students with Java Script, its
purpose, basic terminology, and syntax.
• Provide a work-based learning experience
in which students will apply Web page skills to
the school Web page, and individual Web page,
and a business Web page.
Tools:
HTML, Dreamweaver, JavaScript, and various other
Web page and image creations tools.
Prerequisites:
Web Publishing 1 or instructor approval.
College Credits: For the course
offered, three college credits are given as long
as the student receives an A or a B in the class
as well as a minimum grade of a C on the final.
In order to obtain these college credits the student
must start the process by taking three college
credits, and then once the three credits are complete,
the credits from your high school courses will
be credited to your college transcripts.
