Intro to Business ~
College
can be a rough place and tuition is getting higher
each year. With this program, students have the
opportunity to earn three college credits per
class while still going to high school.

Course
Descriptions:
This course is designed to provide an overview
and basic understanding of business concepts,
and terminology.
Objectives:
• Students will utilize business vocabulary
and define business terms.
• Students will develop critical thinking
and problem solving skills and apply what they
learn to economic, political, and social issues.
• Students will relate key business concepts
to their own life as citizens, wage earners, and
consumers.
Prerequisites: Students have
to be in the 10th, 11th, or 12th grade. Complete
Computer Applications 1, or an approval from an
instructor.
College
Credits: For the course offered, three
college credits are given as long as the student
receives an A or a B in the class as well as a
minimum grade of a C on the final. In order to
obtain these college credits the student must
start the process by taking three college credits,
and then once the three credits are complete,
the credits from your high school courses will
be credited to your college transcripts.
