Shasta High School's Foreign Language Department consists of three different languages,
French, Spanish and American Sign Language. The head of the Foreign Language Department
is Diane Griffith. In this department students will learn how to engage in conversation,
express feelings and emotions, and exchange opinions in another language.They must be able
to understand and interpret, present concepts and ideas, and most importantly learn about
the culture of the language they are studying.
